Wendy Newman, Senior Account Executive
Wendy Newman joined Fund Raising Strategies in 1998, bringing along experience gained during 18 years of direct marketing success. Wendy enthusiastically states that she loves direct marketing because it affords even the smallest group the opportunity to reach out further than it ever dared to dream. Known for commitment to the cause and for the attention to the details that make for a program's ultimate success, Wendy has been honored by her peers. In recognition of her innovation and creativity in direct mail fund raising, Wendy has received many MAXI awards from the Direct Marketing Association of Washington and an Echo award from the national Direct Marketing Association. She has also been honored by the Natural Resources Defense Council for innovative use of corporate support and direct marketing. A native of New York, Wendy was among the first group of women to attend and graduate from the University of Virginia. She lives in Northern Virginia and has one son, Michael.
