James Newberry specializes in writing for museums, animal welfare groups, and political candidates. After graduating from the University of Texas, Jim served on the Legislative Staff of Phil Gramm and was the Campaign Manager or the Finance Director in three congressional campaigns in Texas and Illinois.
Jim worked as an Account Executive for Fundraising Strategies in 1988-1989 and rejoined the staff in 2003. He recently won the prestigious “Direct Mail Package of the Year”Award from Fundraising Success Magazine for his work on behalf of the Tuskegee Airmen. He has also has won several Maxi Awards from the Direct Mail Association of Washington.
